Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Cadlite you agree to these terms, to the Privacy Policy and to the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. If you use Cadlite for an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf, and they apply to the organization as well as to you.

• Give us a real e-mail address you can receive mail at; activation, password resets and storage warnings are sent to it.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, so tell us straight away through the contact page if you think someone else has used it.
• One person per account. An organization account is for its members to share drawings with each other, not for sharing one login between people.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account menu in the editor. What is deleted and what is kept is described in the Privacy Policy.

Your drawings are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you draw, open, upload or save. You give us only the permission we need to store, convert, display and process it to provide the service to you and, where you choose to share a drawing, to the members of your organization.

Only upload drawings and images you have the right to use. Keep your own copies of anything important: you can export your drawings at any time, and while we work to keep them safe, no online service can promise that data is never lost.

Storage depends on your plan. If your drawings no longer fit, for example after a plan ends, we give you at least 14 days' notice before the drawings you saved least recently are removed until the rest fit.

• The editor is free to use. The AI assistant and DWG conversion use tokens, and the pricing page shows the current plans, packs and what they include.
• Tokens are a way of paying for work our servers do. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account or exchanged for money, and are only refunded as the refund policy describes.
• Monthly plans never renew automatically. A plan's tokens belong to the month they were given for, and changing plan deletes the plan tokens you have left - Cadlite shows you how many and asks you to confirm first.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider on its own page, under its own terms. We may change prices, plans and token costs; a change never affects what you have already paid for.

The assistant is a tool, not a professional. What it traces, measures, estimates or draws can be wrong, incomplete or out of scale, and a take-off's quantities and prices are estimates. Check its work before you rely on it, and have any drawing or estimate that matters for construction, safety, a tender or a contract reviewed by a qualified person.

Every change the assistant makes is an undoable step, and changes it proposes are held for you to accept or discard. What you accept into your drawing is yours, and so is the decision to use it. To produce an answer, your request and the parts of the drawing a task needs are sent to a third-party AI provider, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Do not use Cadlite to:

• break the law, or infringe someone else's copyright, trade secrets or other rights;
• upload malware, or files built to attack or crash the service;
• get into accounts, drawings or systems that are not yours, or probe, scan or bypass our security, limits or billing;
• overload the service, scrape it, or run automated access to it other than through the features we provide;
• resell or give access to the service, or copy, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this regardless of these terms.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to download your drawings.

Cadlite, its software, design and name belong to us and are not transferred to you by using it. Cadlite is an independent product and is not affiliated with Autodesk; DWG is Autodesk's format and other names are the property of their owners.

We keep improving Cadlite, so features can change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep it available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and it may be offline for maintenance. A DWG or DXF may not open or export exactly as it looks in the program that wrote it.

Cadlite is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - such as lost profits, lost data, lost work or the cost of a design error - arising from your use of it or of the assistant's output.

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits a liability, or takes away a consumer right, that the law does not allow to be limited or taken away.

We may update these terms as Cadlite changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed; for a significant change we will also tell you in the app or by e-mail. Using Cadlite after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring it there.
